Crystal Palace are set to have a busy summer as the club looks to push into the top 10 places next season. According to reports from England the Eagles are set to offer Newcastle midfielder Mohammed Diame a contract at the end of the season.
The midfield dynamo is considered as a quality player with his power and passing ability a major part of his game. It is understood that Diame has no shortage of offers in the summer with Turkish outfit Fenerbahçe and West Ham interested in the midfielder for next season.
Crystal Palace midfield would need an energetic figure like Diame who can win the ball and quickly launch passes for the likes of Zaha and Townsend to do damage in the final third. At 32 years he is towards the twilight of his career but still has the quality to perform in the EPL.
Another player that has been linked to Palace is Jean Michael Seri. The Ivorian international moved to Fulham in the summer but was unable to prevent the club from getting relegated. He is on a big contract and Fulham are looking to get him off their wage books.
It is understood that Fulham would be willing to accept offers within the range of £25 million for the 25-year-old defensive midfielder.
Seri would be a good signing for Crystal Palace as he displayed some of his qualities at Fulham this season. He would be able to slot in alongside club captain Luka Milivojević in the midfield providing the base for the club to attack.
Seri is also an excellent set-piece taker and would provide an additional threat with his ability to shoot from outside the box.
