Crystal Palace are interested in signing defender Victor Nelssonfrom Danish club FC Copenhagen this summer. This is according to the report from media outlet EkstraBladet which also said that defender is interested in a move to the English top flight ahead of the new season.
The aforementioned media report stated that FC Copenhagen won’t stand in the way of Nelsson who wants to test himself in the Premier League. The £9m-rated Copenhagen defender is said to also be a target for Burnley.
Nelsson is one of several targets on the Clarets transfer shortlist as they prepare for life without contract rebel James Tarkowski.
Tarkowskihas not signed a new deal at Turf Moor and he could leave the club this summer with Europa League campaigners Leicester City interested in the England international. West Ham United had a bid rejected for the Burnleycentre back last season.
Burnley might have an advantage over Crystal Palace in the race for Nelssonwith the player not keen on a move to Selhurst Park until a new manager has been appointed.
